-New All Ceramic Material Restores Lost Smiles More Naturally-

BUFFALO, N.Y. – The next wave of dental technology has arrived in Buffalo bringing lightweight, ceramic dental implants that are notably more realistic than traditional metal.  Dr Marshall Fagin, D.D.S. has begun working with the IPS E.max system to achieve a better balance between form and function with his patients.

“The IPS E.max is the only system available that uses both pressable and CAD/CAM technologies to create a realistic looking and feeling esthetic for anterior crown copings and anterior bridges,” says Fagin.

The IPS E.max system is available from Ivoclar Vivadent, one of the world’s largest providers of dental technologies with main offices in Liechtenstein and a satellite office in Amherst, N.Y., as well as worldwide.  Its CAD/CAM technology allows for dentists to both design a product and control the manufacturing process, which results in a more accurate dental esthetic and a quicker product turn around for the patient.

Along with the slight risk of metal allergies being removed, the IPS E.max system is being touted for its ability to provide a more predictable shade matching even with difficult combination cases.  For patients, this new technology can restore not only their individual smile, but also some of their esteem.

“With a traditional dental esthetic, patients are consciences if they are smiling to big or yawning to wide and their metal bridges are showing,” Fagin says.  “The new system completely voids this.  The patient receives a smile that looks almost completely natural.”
